The complex system of the CM180 module is delivered in only three separate units: the Core Unit, the Head Unit and the Sub Unit. The Core Unit, the heart of the system, houses the 30 flat-panel airlift photobioreactors, the LED grow light and the defined piping network for the inlets and outlets, as well as other components important for operation. The Sub Unit serves as a support structure for the Core Unit and contains the overflow tanks as a safety measure in case of an accident. The Head Unit, located above the Core Unit, houses the control units that regulate and power the LED grow lights. The components of the cultivation infrastructure are also indexed and carefully packed.
Following the design concept of Subitec’s CM180 cultivation module, the production unit can be disassembled prior to delivery and then reassembled at the customer’s site with significantly less effort.
